Standing Seam backer Rod is a flexible, extruded closed cell foam product that is 5/8” diameter and comes with adhesive backing. Many installers use backer rod to help prevent oil canning of non-striated standing seam metal roof panels. Our Standing Seam backer rod is an innovative product that comes with an adhesive backing for saving a time saving way to apply backer rod to the panels. Backer Rod can be easily trimmed to the precise size needed for upcoming Standing Seam Projects.
