Type inches as 1.5, 1-1/2, or 3/4. Bend 90 = square corner. A smaller number is a gentler bend. "Left" and "Right" are the way the metal turns as you follow it from leg A.
Open hem or closed hem?
Open hem: the edge folds back with a small gap. Use it where another piece hooks in, or where you want a safe edge with a little spring.
Closed hem: the edge folds back flat. It gives a clean, stiff edge with no sharp metal showing.
Each hem adds of flat metal to the girth.
